htc will not consider a merger with Asus
We’ve recently reported that Asustek pc, the corporate behind the Asus smartphone and pill vary (amongst others), is inquisitive about effort HTC.
The post followed comments from Asus’ Chairman, Reb Shih, last week throughout their annual general meeting.
It appears that Johnny’s comment, that Asus wouldn't rule out the chance of shopping for HTC, caught Asus off guard.
Later on, Asustek Computer’s Chief money dealer spoke to reporters to mention that Reb Shih had “chatted regarding the subject internally.”
And currently HTC have created a press release to the Taiwan securities market locution that “[HTC] has not created any contact with Asus relating to this matter, and it'll not think about a merger with Asus.”
This is regarding as firm a rejection as they're going between rival corporations.
Of course, simply because HTC don't would like to merge with Asus, this doesn't mean that Asus might primarily get HTC.
While Asus have reported that they need no current investment plans in HTC, tomorrow is the another day.
